Quality education to the wards
The NCERT syllabus that is acclaimed as quality conscious and activity based has been carefully handled by the dedicated staff of OES to build sufficient practical knowledge in every child. The understanding of all the concepts clearly by the OES-ians will strengthen them with greater confidence and ability. OES trains the children to value our tradition, respect our elders, obey the teachers and cultivate friendship with fellow students.

Pre-Primary Curriculum

  1. Learning is made interesting, fun and activity oriented at this level.
  2. For young children, opportunities are available to observe, handle a variety of natural and man-made material and hone their inherent virtue of questioning and sharing.
  3. Students are encouraged to participate in class activities as singing, drawing and colouring, writing, group games, clay modeling, puzzles and recitation.
  4. Poems and stories are dramatized using expressive actions.
  5. Focus is on laying foundation for literacy, numeracy & comprehension skills and on reinforcing an innate sense of discovery in everything that is taught.
  6. Nature walks and regular educational tours to the Zoos, Museums and Game Parks develop a sense of openness towards the world.

Primary Curriculum

  1. A thematic approach is designed to stimulate the children through various interactive sessions and activities.
  2. An extensive use of teaching aids to supplement classroom teaching.
  3. Project works in class calls for mass participation. An equal emphasis is laid on developing a strong sense of individuality.
  4. Field trips and excursions make learning fun.
  5. Use of the newspaper articles, quizzes, crosswords and other learning tools enhance general awareness.

Middle Curriculum

  1. The emphasis is laid on building up the structured, student-centered and enquiry-based foundation laid at the Primary level.
  2. The curriculum is research oriented and learning opportunities are provided through worksheets in the classroom, laboratory time, library time, computer time and small group discussion time.
  3. Personality development is stressed through development of academic knowledge, the ability to question, sensory experiences and a honing of creative expressions.
  4. Emphasis is made on group work including story time, lecture demonstrations, large group discussions, conceptual explanations and group goal setting.

High School Curriculum

  1. The emphasis is laid not merely on information, but also on the learning of academic and practical skills.
  2. The specialized program for this level strives to achieve balance between academic excellence and the life outside the realms of scholastic aptitudes.
  3. An equal stress is laid on preparing students for the prescribed CBSE syllabus and on preparing the students for the various competitive entrance examinations.
  4. Result oriented training is imparted by experienced professionals who target for total development and desired success.
  5. The concept of syncro-study has been introduced to reduce stress levels of students. A synchronized study pattern is maintained between the course content of the board examinations and that of the competitive entrance examinations.
  6. Students have complete access to the various laboratories and library resources, specially designed for the study and research requirements of the senior level students.
